just add some music to william shatner talking and you’ve got another album.
No.
Shatner knows; I trust Shatner.
“…Jack Flash! Rocket Man! Sergeant Pepper! And! The! Band!…” lol
Adam Hamilton formerly of LA Guns, never knew he was involved met him in london, absolute gentleman. this album certainly puts Metallica and Lou Reed to shame..
Ha ha! Shatner is an absolute nut cake! Love it!
Seeing the great Sir lord Von Shatnerhof always makes me happy
Too bad Shatner didn’t do Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun or Let There Be More Light instead of Learning to Fly.
Oh my god! He definitely and undoubted is the antichrist of singing. o.O

- I’m not saying it’s great art.
I just kind of admire the gusto with which he approaches life, that’s all. Most people don’t have that much confidence, and that’s what holds them back. Shatner just charges ahead and does it.
You can replace his name with Rebecca Black and you would still be accurate, but that doesn’t make it great.
Tell me why Shatner didn’t include “Rocket” by Def Leppard on the album?
I’ve got to hear this album. I’m an unapologetic fan of Shatner’s musical endeavors.
Really a great concept, following Major Tom. Wish more performers had real conceptual albums. Of course I always liked all the “Mystery Shatner” songs even his interpretation of “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”. Great talk singer! Not many actors can come from one genre TV-Movies and then restart in music and make a name there too, Bruce Willis did it, maybe even better singer, but he lacked the inspiration of conceptual depth as this, he tried w/Bruno, maybe yet he too will fly.
CUZ IM A ROCKET MAN, BURNING OUT HIS FUSE OUT HERE, ALONE….
ROCKETMAN, MAKING MYSELF LOOK LIKE………… A FOOL!
ROCKETMAN!
ROCKETMAN!
ROCKETMAN!
Freddie is up there laughing too hard to cry.
Bill Shatner strung up on silver strings, like wings, like time-machines???
The glorious thing about Shatner is simply this: he is totally unafraid to be himself.
Quite the guy, actually. And he made a career out of it.
Is this a dream? Am I dreamimg this?
A little Montrose perhaps next time?
I am so stoked. He covers Hawkwind’s “Silver Machine” , Bowie’s “Space Oddity” and many more space rock hits.
